Context

ReFi DAO/Lisboa originally wanted to have a mass planting event of 1-2k trees.

The planting action is to be done with the support of Silvi → https://www.silvi.earth/

Djimo from Silvi is working on a reforestation guide for ReFi DAO’s local nodes focusing on propagation, building methodologies and engaging people in a distributed way.

Silvi’s TreeForwards can be integrated - that can be a source of continued funding for the TDF in terms of reforestation.

Details

Two days of planting:

• Oct 27 Arrivals:
• 28th eve land tour and take cuttings
• Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th (Oct)
• 3-4 hours in the morning before lunch
  • • time in the afternoon for smaller group of people
• setting up a nursery
• transplant saplings and mature them

People: ~50 (from ReFi: 12 confirmed / 20-35 predicted)
